Frequently asked questions
Counseling allows us to process thoughts, feelings, behaviors, trauma, or stress with a compassionate and skilled professional in an atmosphere that is supportive and confidential. Talking things through with a counselor helps to untangle our thoughts, offering new perspectives and insights. Counseling also fosters self-awareness and personal growth, which are powerful tools for coping with life’s challenges. Through counseling, we can learn healthy coping strategies, gain tools to manage difficult emotions, and build stronger relationships.
Consultation calls allow us to briefly get to know our counselor, consider what is bringing us to counseling at this time, and provide an opportunity to ask any questions we have about the process.
If you and your counselor both feel you are a good fit at the end of the call, the next step is setting up your first session!
Sessions are typically 50 minutes in length.
Quest Counseling, LLC is not currently paneled with any insurance companies. However, upon request Kate does offer all individual clients what is known as a super bill. A super bill is a detailed invoice that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement for out of network (OON) services. It is recommended that you contact your insurance company to determine your eligibility for reimbursement.
Quest Counseling, LLC offers individual sessions at $100 for 50 minutes and couples sessions at $130 for 50 minutes. We recognize that the cost of mental health services can be a concern. We would also be glad to connect you with other community resources that may better suit your budget.
